Faith isn’t something I talk about to check a box. It’s the foundation of my life. It’s not just what I believe -- it’s who I’m becoming and how I walk with others along the way. This page is about the faith that guides me, encourages me, and shapes how I love people.
Helping people to echo and learn the life of Jesus in their everyday lives.
That’s the mission of my home church, Echoes Church, and it reflects my heart, too. I want to live a faith that is present, compassionate, and authentic -- not performative.
Pointing people to Jesus by loving them like Jesus.
That’s the mission of Rock Point Church, a community that’s helped shape my spiritual walk. Both of these churches inspire how I approach life and relationships.
One of the voices that’s had a powerful impact on my life is Nick Vujicic. Born without arms or legs, Nick has spent his life sharing hope with people facing impossible odds -- especially young people battling discouragement, bullying, or suicidal thoughts.
His message: “Your life has value. You are not alone.”
Two interviews on 60 Minutes -- one from over a decade ago and a more recent follow-up -- reveal not just Nick’s resilience, but his joy, purpose, and faith.

“When God is for us, who can be against us?” -- Romans 8:31
(In the future, I may add links here to my brother’s or dad’s websites, which are also committed to helping others walk through hardship.)
When it comes to sharing faith, Carl Medearis’ book Speaking of Jesus reflects how I think. His book points us away from arguments and toward something better: simply introducing people to Jesus. A place where the relationship both with Christ and the other person is more important than being right! At the heart of it all is Jesus — not a label, not a position, but a living person whose life continues to speak more powerfully than any debate.
This series explores how Jesus calls us to love people with no strings attached. It’s simple, bold, and counter-cultural in all the right ways.
Week 1:
Love is essential for Christians, as it defines their identity and mission. Paul emphasizes that love is patient and kind, urging believers to embody this love in their interactions. Understanding and patience are crucial for unity in a diverse church, reflecting God's love and grace towards others.
David's kindness towards Mephibosheth exemplifies how Christians should engage with others, emphasizing love and compassion over aggression. This approach can restore dignity and open doors for meaningful conversations about faith, demonstrating that kindness can lead to transformation and deeper connections, even with those who seem unworthy.
Week 3:
The message emphasizes the importance of forgiveness in relationships, contrasting it with keeping score, which leads to resentment and conflict. It explains that true love involves letting go of past wrongs, not minimizing them, and highlights that forgiveness is a blessing that enables healing and reconciliation, ultimately reflecting Jesus' love for us.
The message emphasizes the importance of trust in relationships, highlighting how gaps between expectations and experiences can lead to misunderstandings. It encourages individuals to give the benefit of the doubt, look for the best in others, and communicate openly to bridge these gaps, ultimately fostering stronger connections.
Week 5:
Christmas should be a time of love, yet many feel stressed and disconnected. True love is not just words or feelings; it's a command, conduct, and commitment. Without love, nothing else matters—our words, knowledge, beliefs, or actions lack significance. Embracing God's love enables us to express genuine love to others.
We can do anything: Echoes Opening Sermon
Echo Church's grand opening features Pastor Daniel Goulding discussing the significance of Jesus' miracles, particularly the feeding of the 5,000. He emphasizes the importance of surrendering our perceived insignificance to God, who can transform it into something extraordinary. The message encourages communit2 Columny involvement and faith in God's supernatural power to bring change.
The secular highlight of this message speaks clearly to us all! At about 31:35 there is a letter / discussion from Richard Warren. It describes today, even though it was written in 1966 – a time when I grew up. And then there are two Life Magazine Cover-Pages; 1966 “is God Dead?” and then after the Jesus Movement of the hippies, the cover page was in 1971 – “The Jesus Revolution”. You will be amazed. Why not us & why not now?
Rebuilding isn’t just about bricks and walls it’s about lives. This series unpacks how courage, calling, and faithfulness come together in seasons of challenge and purpose.

He warns that passivity in leadership leads to devastation, mespecially for future generations. The need for surrender to God and active faith is underscored as essential for spiritual revival.
Over the years, a few key Bible verses have become anchors for me -- especially in hard seasons. These aren’t just memory verses; they’re daily reminders of God’s faithfulness.
● James 1:5 (ESV) -- “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
● Proverbs 1:7 (ESV) -- “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
● Romans 8:31: “ God is for us, who can be against us? ”
● Galatians 5:22–23 (ESV) — “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.”
These words have helped me stay grounded, lead well, and trust deeply. I come back to them often.
My faith isn’t about pretending I have it all together. It’s about letting God meet me in my weakness and shape me through grace. If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s that Jesus is still changing lives -- including mine, every day.
Whether you're just beginning to explore faith, have walked this road for years, or if you have doubts and questions, you're welcome here. This is a space to reflect, ask honestly, and grow together. My hope is to build real relationships rooted not in being right, but in understanding one another even when we see things differently.
This page will grow over time -- with more stories, sermons, resources, and reflections that have shaped me. I hope they’ll be an encouragement to you, too.
If you have a prayer request, a question, or just want to talk through something, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Neither do I. But we don’t have to walk alone.
Let’s echo the life of Jesus -- one step at a time.
